Service Description

Curious about yoga but not sure where to start? The course is open to everyone looking to experience what it is like to be mentally and physically relaxed as well as learning a variety of different yoga poses. A different family of poses will be looked into and practiced each week, breaking them down to ensure care and attention to your form and allignment, building your knowledege of a class structure. Giving you an all-round introduction to yoga so that you will learn how to practice in an effective and safe way. Week 1 - Sun Salutations Week 2 - Standing poses Week 3 - Twists Week 4 - Hip Opening poses Week 5 - Backbends Not only will we cover Asana, (the poses) we will also look at Pranayama, (breath work) Meditation and you wil be given a rough outline of the other eight limbs of yoga to explore as well as explanations to different styles of yoga and what to expect from a public class. No previous experience required, open to all levels. If you miss a week of the course, a studio class can be taken in its place. Starts Thursday 8th January 2026
